These Payment Terms explain how prices, currencies, payment methods, the irflexApp wallet, tips, coupons and partner payouts work. They form part of our Terms & Conditions. Please read them before you pay for an order, ride, booking or service.
1. Prices, taxes and fees
- You see the price before you pay. Checkout shows the subtotal, any discount, the delivery fee, taxes, service fees, the tip you chose and the total. You confirm the total before you place the order.
- Who sets prices: stores, providers and hosts set the prices of their products, services and stays. Ride fares and most delivery fees are calculated from irflexApp's rates for the city or zone.
- Taxes are shown at checkout where they apply. Partners are responsible for the taxes on what they sell.
- Stays show the nightly price and any fees the host applies, such as a cleaning fee, a service fee, a resort fee, an extra guest fee or a pet fee, before you book.
- Pharmacy orders with a prescription: the pharmacy confirms the products and the final price after reviewing your prescription, and you pay then.
1.1 Ride fares
- The fare is shown before you book. It is based on the vehicle type, the estimated distance and duration of the route, the time of day and the rates of the city. It can include a minimum fare, an airport surcharge for trips that start or end at an airport, and a public-holiday rate.
- Where demand pricing is switched on, fares can rise when many riders nearby are waiting and few drivers are free. You see the higher price, and how much it has risen, before you book.
- If you add stops, the fare covers the whole route and includes a few minutes of waiting at each stop, as shown in the app. Changing a stop means the ride is priced again.
- In some areas, the final fare of a fixed-price ride is calculated at the end of the trip over the route actually travelled.
- For a bid, the price you agree with the driver is the price of the trip and does not change.
2. Currencies
- Prices are shown in the local currency of the place: where you are, where your delivery address is, or where the store, host or provider is.
- Wallets, balances, earnings, commissions and payouts are kept in US dollars and shown in your local currency at the day's exchange rate. The app shows the US-dollar amount below the local amount where they differ.
- Cash is paid in the local amount shown.
- Wallet, card and crypto payments are charged as the US-dollar equivalent of the local price, at the day's rate (for a ride, the rate used when it was priced).
- Card and crypto payments are billed in US dollars (USDT). Your bank or card issuer may show the charge in another currency or at a slightly different amount, and may add its own currency-conversion fee. These bank charges are outside our control.
3. Ways to pay
The payment methods available depend on the service, the store and your area. They are shown at checkout.
- Cash, paid to the driver or store on delivery or at the end of the trip.
- Wallet: your irflexApp wallet balance (see section 5).
- IrFlex wallet (USDT): the Brand Partner balance funded with USDT, where you have one.
- Pay with card and Pay with crypto, on our payment partner's secure payment page (see section 4).
- Offline payment, where offered: you pay by bank transfer or remittance following the instructions shown, then enter the payment reference and upload a photo of the receipt. Our team checks it before the payment is accepted.
- Direct payment to the provider or driver, for offers, price requests and bid rides (see section 7).
4. Card and crypto payments
- Card and crypto payments are made on our payment partner's secure payment page. Your card details go to our payment partner, not to us, and we do not store them.
- Transaction fee: we bill exactly the amount you owe. Our payment partner adds its transaction fee on top, on its payment page, so you see it before you pay. The transaction fee is charged by the payment partner and is not refundable.
- Limits: one card or crypto payment can be from USD 5 to USD 50,000 (or the equivalent in your currency). Outside these limits, choose another payment method.
- Time limit: a payment link is valid for a limited time. If an order is not paid in time, it is cancelled automatically. You can start a new payment for anything still owed.
- Confirmation: a payment counts once our payment partner confirms it. A ride paid this way is offered to drivers only after the payment is confirmed.
- Paid twice: if you pay again for something already paid, the extra payment is credited to your irflexApp wallet.
- Crypto transfers: when you are asked to send USDT to an address, send only the token and network shown. Tokens sent on another network, or other tokens, are lost and cannot be recovered by anyone, including us.
5. The irflexApp wallet
- Top up: open Menu > Wallet > Top Up, enter the amount in your local currency and choose how to pay. Your wallet is credited the US-dollar equivalent at the day's rate. A minimum top-up applies, and the app shows it in your currency and in US dollars.
- Spend: use your balance for orders, rides, stays, tips and, for drivers, plans and remittances.
- Send: tap Send to transfer money to another irflexApp user. Find them by email or phone number, or scan their wallet QR code, and confirm with your password. Check the recipient carefully: we cannot reverse a transfer sent to the wrong person, except where the law requires or in cases of fraud.
- Receive: tap Receive to show your wallet address and QR code to someone who wants to send you money.
- Refunds for payments made in the app are credited to your wallet (see our Refund Policy).
- What the wallet is not: it is not a bank account, it does not earn interest and its balance cannot be cashed out, unless the app offers a withdrawal for your type of account.
- We may hold or correct a wallet balance that results from an error, fraud or a reversed payment.
6. Tips
- Tips are optional. You can add a tip at checkout or tip your driver after the trip or delivery, within the time the app allows.
- 100% of your tip goes to the driver. irflexApp takes no commission on tips.
- Tips can be paid from your wallet or in cash, where offered.
- A tip given after a trip or delivery cannot be refunded. A tip chosen at checkout is refunded if the order is cancelled.
7. Offers, price requests and bid rides
- When you send an offer, choose a provider for a price request or take a ride through a bid, you pay the provider or driver directly, not in the app.
- For offers and requests, you choose how to pay from the methods the provider accepts, such as cash, card, bank transfer or Flexcoin, and you pay when you get what you agreed. Bid rides are paid to the driver in cash.
- The provider or driver is responsible for giving you any receipt the law requires.
- irflexApp charges you nothing for these deals. The provider pays irflexApp a commission from their own balance (see section 10).
8. Coupons, promotions and rewards
- Coupons are entered at checkout with Add Coupon. Each coupon has its own conditions, shown in the app: for example a validity period, a use limit, a minimum order, a maximum discount, or use only with certain stores, products, services or rides. Some coupons apply only to the delivery fee.
- Coupons with a fixed value are set in US dollars and are worth their equivalent in the store's currency on the day.
- Coupons and promotions have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money and may be withdrawn if they are misused.
- Loyalty Points (where offered) are earned on orders and can be converted into wallet credit at the rate shown in Menu > Loyalty Points.
- Referral rewards (Refer & Earn) are given when the conditions shown in the app are met, for example when the person you invited completes their first order.
- FlexPoints for drivers and the Brand Partner program follow their own rules in the app and in our Terms & Conditions.
9. Failed, reversed and disputed payments
- If a payment fails, the order is not confirmed. Nothing is charged by us for a failed payment.
- If a crypto payment arrives short of the amount billed, it is flagged for our team, who may ask you to pay the difference.
- If you believe a payment is wrong, contact us first through Live support. We can usually solve it faster than your bank.
- If you ask your bank to reverse a payment (a chargeback) for an order, ride or stay you received, we may recover the amount from your wallet and suspend wallet features or your account while the dispute is open. If the dispute is decided in your favour, we restore your account.
10. Payments for drivers and partners
10.1 Drivers and couriers
- Earnings: for each completed trip or delivery, your share is added to your earnings. irflexApp's commission is never taken from tips.
- How you pay irflexApp: either a commission per trip, or a plan such as Standard or VIP where offered. The rates, plan prices, work zones and rules are shown in More > Plans & work zones. The commission of a trip is fixed when you accept it.
- Cash trips and orders: when a customer pays you in cash, irflexApp's commission is charged to your wallet. Cash you collected from customers for orders appears as Pending Remittance on the Stats screen; settle it with Pay Now, which takes it from your wallet balance. In some areas you need enough wallet balance to accept cash orders.
- Plans are paid from your wallet and run for the period shown.
10.2 Stores, providers and hosts
- Orders and bookings paid through irflexApp: your earnings are the order amount less irflexApp's commission, at the rate in your partner agreement. Where subscriptions are used, the subscription is paid in advance for the period shown.
- Offers and price requests paid directly to you: when a deal is agreed, irflexApp takes the commission of its category from your IrFlex balance (the wallet of the account that runs the business). It is returned if the deal is cancelled, rejected or expires before it is completed. Keep enough balance: without it you cannot accept offers or answer requests. Recharge from My Services in the partner app.
10.3 Payouts
- Add a payment account first: in the driver app More > Finance > Payment Accounts, in the partner app More > Payment Accounts.
- Request a payout from your earnings: in the driver app More > Finance > Earning > Request Payout, in the partner app on the Vendor tab with Request Payout.
- You enter the amount in your local currency. It is recorded in US dollars at the day's rate, together with the amount you asked for. Our team reviews the request and pays it to your payment account, and you are told when it is paid or if it is declined.
- Your bank or wallet provider may charge its own fees or convert the amount.
- You are responsible for declaring your earnings and paying your own taxes.
- Brand Partner commissions and withdrawals follow the program rules shown in the app, including any withdrawal fee shown there.
11. Receipts
We send order and payment emails, and every order, ride and wallet transaction is listed in the app. Where the law requires an invoice for goods or services, it is issued by the partner who provided them.
12. Changes and contact
We may update these Payment Terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Payments are handled under the version in force when you made them. For any question about a payment, contact Live support or use our Contact page.
